6 day agoAt least 1,400 community members took over the Cacique Juan Maraza barracks on Friday; they detained uniformed members of that military unit in Ichoa, an area close to the Cochabamba municipality of Bulo Bulo, in the Cochabamba tropics on the route to the TIPNIS. According to the complaint of neighbors, civilians also accessed the furrielato, the room where weapons are kept. This takeover occurs in the context of the protest of followers of Evo Morales against the government of Luis Arce. : RRSS
